Energy Market Value Tool: Stage 1 – Transmission Value

This tool allows exploration of the data and results from two studies, a study published in Nature Communications and a report supporting the National Transmission Needs Study. For the analyses within this tool, the methods are equivalent between the studies, but the sets of transmission links (i.e., the maps) are different. The "Choice of transmission links" toggle simply switches between the two sets analyzed. Please see the cited articles for full explanation of the methods, context, and implications of data presented here as only partial explanations are repeated here.
