Program & Policy Analysis
Informing utility-scale renewable energy and storage deployment
Program & Policy Analysis
We work to inform the regulations, programs, and policies influencing the deployment of renewable and storage technologies in the U.S. and abroad.
Through our objective research, EMP informs the regulations, programs, and policies that impact utility-scale renewable and storage deployment in the U.S. and internationally. This includes evaluating renewable energy programs and policies in terms of their implications for energy affordability, reliability, health, and other key metrics. Among other areas, EMP’s work includes long-standing assessments and tracking of U.S. state clean energy standards and electric utility resource planning.
