Jenya Kahn-Lang is a Graduate Student Research Assistant in the Electricity Markets and Policy Department and a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on retail rate design, utility regulation, and retail electricity choice markets.
Jenya was previously a Senior Consultant at Energy and Environmental Economics Inc. (E3), where she focused on distributed energy resources, retail rate design, and pathways to deep decarbonization. She holds an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematical Environmental Analysis from Pomona College.
