Mr. Carvallo is a Sr. Scientific Engineering Associate in the Electricity Markets and Policy department at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research areas at the lab focus on long-term power system planning modeling, regulatory design for planning and investment in electricity markets, and policy, economic, and financial aspects of the U.S. ESCO industry. Mr. Carvallo holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as P.E. and B.S. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa Maria, Chile.
