Sofia Hamilton is a Graduate Student Research Assistant in the Electricity Markets and Policy Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Her research is focused on analyzing the performance of wind farms in the United States.
Sofia is also a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Climate program in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, where she works on finding more computationally efficient ways to model air quality at high spatial resolution. She also obtained her M.S. and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Berkeley, as well as a minor in Energy Engineering.
