The new USWTDB Application Programming Interface (or API) functionality allows other software programs to access the U.S. Wind Turbine Database. Creation of the USWTDB API is meant to extend USWTDB visibility, expand the user base, and create more productive internal workflows for users. The availability of the public API, which occurred in March 2019, makes it possible for third-party developers to build value-added applications leveraging the USWTDB.
This webinar features Chris Garrity, the USWTDB Application Developer from the U.S. Geological Survey. He will describe the new capability and provide some examples such as how to use the API to bring data into Excel and other applications.
