In May 2024, FERC released its final rule transforming regional transmission planning and cost allocation requirements. Since state public utility commissions, transmission planning authorities, and state energy offices will be collectively affected by this rule, these state organizations can join Peer-Sharing Cohorts where states can learn from subject matter experts and each other. More detail on potential regions or topics to form the basis of peer-sharing cohorts to come in 2025.
