Promoting effective deployment of energy efficiency, end-use electrification, and demand flexibility
Technical Assistance
We provide technical assistance on the regulations, programs, and policies affecting energy efficiency, demand response, and demand flexibility to a broad range of decision-makers in the U.S. and internationally.
The deployment and operation of energy efficiency and demand flexibility technologies is affected by regulations, programs, and policies at the local, state, territorial, and federal levels. EMP supports a wide array of industry, regulatory, and policy decision-makers, both in the U.S. and abroad. For example, we frequently provide technical assistance on evaluating the grid services provided by these resources; developing and implementing programs to promote their adoption and utilization; and creating opportunities to better reflect these resources in utility planning and operations.
