State Indicators of Demand Flexibility and Energy Efficiency

This data visualization accompanies the Berkeley Lab report, State Indicators for Advancing Demand Flexibility and Energy Efficiency in Buildings. You can use the interactive map (left tab) to search indicators by: 

  1. Category
  2. State
  3. Type of action (legislative, executive, regulatory, other) 
  4. Resource — demand flexibility (demand response + energy efficiency targeted to reduce peak demand or integrate with demand response) or traditional energy efficiency measures

The "Map maker" (right tab) makes it easy to create your own maps using these classifications. The "Detailed table" (center tab) includes detailed indicators, descriptions of state actions, type of action, and hyperlinks to cited documents.
