Position Opening: Energy Efficiency Team Leader
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) is now hiring an Energy Efficiency Team Leader for its Electricity Markets and Policy Group (EMP); see the attached announcement for information on how to apply.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and strategic direction for a growing team of LBNL researchers in the areas of energy efficiency policy, markets, and programs, with a focus on the utility sector.
The Energy Efficiency Team Leader will also be expected to lead one or more selected energy efficiency (EE) research projects (e.g., analysis of innovative EE policies, costs and impacts of EE programs; EE financing and ESCOs, EM&V issues; EE “business models”; coordination of EE and demand response; EE as an environmental compliance strategy).
This research and technical assistance to state government agencies informs public policy and regulatory initiatives as well as supports private sector decision-making on public-interest issues related to energy efficiency.
This position provides an opportunity for the right person to lead and grow energy efficiency policy and program work, impact state and national policy and program implementation, and interact with other professionals and leaders in the United States and abroad.
