Informing utility-scale energy generation and storage decisions
Cost, Benefit, & Market Analysis
We conduct innovative analysis on the costs, benefits, performance, and market potential of generation and storage technologies.
Generation and storage technologies exhibit unique cost and performance profiles, and provide varying benefits. EMP’s work includes appraising technology developments; evaluating cost, performance, and comparative economics; and assessing the social impacts of these technologies. Taking these factors into account, EMP also analyzes the market potential of generation and storage technologies – both now and into the future.
